In the darkest of times God’s goodness burns bright. I have found this to be true. Bringing comfort, guidance, and hope to the hardest path, He is near—our Heavenly Sherpa. Too often we wear shades of discouragement, of disbelief, that dim our view of God’s gracious, sustaining presence. I know I do. Oh, but when those shades come down, even just a bit…glimmers of His beauty and purpose emerge. His light and life change everything. While still in the valley, we take the next step.
